Sushant Singh Rajput case
Sushant Singh Rajput case: The late actor's father alleged that Rhea Chakraborty is a 'murderer' and demanded that she be arrested.

Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh, on Thursday alleged that Rhea Chakraborty was giving poison to his son from a long time. Alleging that Chakraborty is a 'murderer', Singh, in a video message said that the investigating agency must arrest her.

"Rhea Chakraborty was giving poison to my son, Sushant from a long time, she is his murderer. The investigating agency must arrest her and her associates," KK Singh said.

Earlier today, Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti, demanded that Chakraborty be arrested. "Government of India needs to see to it that a prime accused should not be moving around giving interviews and doing publicity stunts!!!" she said in a tweet. "Why the people who have committed such a heinous crime...moving about Scot-free??? I need an answer!! They should be taken under custody immediately!!" she had tweeted on Wednesday.

Vikas Singh, the lawyer of the Rajput family, however, said that if the CBI takes Rhea Chakraborty into custody without any hard evidence and she gets bail, the entire exercise would be counter-productive.
