Must-try Keto Recipes for your Low-Carb Breakfast

Since I started on a keto diet, I have been on the lookout for suitable keto recipes that I can add to my repertoire. As you know, the ketogenic diet is a low-carb, higher-fat diet which is very beneficial for health and weight loss. Since I started on the diet, I find I am eating a lot more cheese, meat and eggs than I used to and I love to find a recipe that combines those ingredients in a different way than I am used to.

Enter the Spam and Egg Low-Carb Breakfast recipe that I found on the fantastic cook.me website. Cook.me is a new (to me) recipe website which has a wide variety of recipes that will suit all tastes. I loved scrolling through the recipes with step by step photographs to guide you through the cooking process. 

The recipe couldn’t be easier to make and it contains only three ingredients! The key ingredient is a can of Spam or another of your favorite luncheon meats. In addition, you’ll need some shredded Cheddar cheese and 2 eggs. Start by placing the Spam and eggs in a pan over medium and stir constantly, until the eggs are almost cooked. Sprinkle the cheese into the pan and stir into the eggs. 

I have to say that although the recipe is short and quite simple with only three ingredients, the cook.me approach to recipe presentation really suits my style of cooking. The steps are illustrated with clear modern photographs which left me in no doubt about what I needed to do. I can’t wait to cook more of cook.me’s keto recipes.
