Qatar residence will have a good chance to seeing and observing an orange giant star "Aldebaran" very close to the Moon two times during March 2020, where the first time will be tomorrow, while it will be approaching to Moon again on Sunday, March 29, 2020. Qatar Calendar House (QCH) announced.

On Monday, March2, 2020, Aldebaran will be approach the Moon; where the angular distance between Aldebaran and the Moon will be3 degrees, moreover, Qatar resident can see and observe Aldebaran as yellow point southern the Moon's center, they canobserve Aldebaran and Moon together with naked eyes from the sunset time till the time set of Aldebaran on Monday, where the sunset time on Qatar sky will be at 5:37 Pm Doha local time, while the time set of Aldebaran will be at midnight of next day“Tuesday”Doha local time. Astronomer expert Dr. Beshir Marzouk said.

On Sunday, March 29, 2020, Aldebaran will be approaching the new crescent of  Hijric Month “Shaban 1441H”, where it will be at 3.5 degrees southern new crescent, moreover, Qatar resident will be able to see and observe Aldebaran as yellow point southern the Moon's center, they can observe Aldebaran and Moon together with naked eyes from the sunset time till the time set of Moon, where the sunset time on Sunday will be at 5:50 Pm Doha local time, while the time set of the Moon will be at 10:12 Pm Doha local time.

These astronomical phenomena are very important because it is a good chance to seeing and observing Aldebaran with Moon together on same time with naked eyes and digital cameras, moreover, it's guiding for amateur astronomers to know the map of the sky, and validate the astronomical calculations.

For more information, Aldebaran is an orange giant star; moreover, its diameter is approximately equal fifty times of solar diameters, i.e. Aldebaran star approximately 50 times larger than the sun.
