Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli became parents on January 11 and it’s been a celebration since. The new-to-parenthood couple welcomed a baby girl and it’s a been a whirlwind of emotions for anyone that ships the duo. Especially after the statement put out by Captain of the Indian men’s cricket team that read, “Anushka and the baby are healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat.”
Of course, #Virushka fan clubs have had no time to breathe in anticipation of anything related to the little one. And it seems to be a good day for those cause Anushka Sharma has finally revealed the name of their new wonder – Vamika!
While sharing the first glimpse of their daughter, she wrote, “We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Vamika, what a beautiful and unique name! Needless to say, her post is flooded with wishes and hellos and love to little Vamika.
