Super Bowl halftime show - The Weekend’s act with dancers in face bandages wows all, Fans call it fantastic

The Weeknd managed to steal the show at Super Bowl 2021 halftime show as fans were seen impressed by the performance. Many took to Twitter and praised the performance.

The Weeknd’s performance at the Super Bowl halftime show has received an overwhelming response from the audience. The Singer was already making headlines for his act with dancers with a bandaged face. Pop star, real name Abel Tesfaye, stole the show with his enthralling act and singing. The performance is getting great reviews on Twitter. Fans are floored by his dance moves as well as performance and called him a great singer. Singer Abel Tesfaye is the first Canadian to headline solo at the event and has many hit albums in his kitty including the latest After Hours.

 

Viewers got a glimpse of The Weeknd with a group of dancers whose faces were wrapped in bandages while performing. Fans were impressed by the performance and started screaming in excitement. The concert ended when The Weeknd and a large group of bandaged dancers took over the field for a performance of "Blinding Lights" with an accompanying choreography. Prior to them, country star Eric Church and R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan performed the national anthem. R&B artist HER also sang “America the Beautiful”.

The Weeknd has three tops albums including his latest ‘After Hours’ that featured the hit song “Blinding Lights.” Other top songs by The Weeknd on the Billboard Hot 100 include: Love Me Harder, Earned It, Can’t Feel My Face, I Feel It Coming, Pray For Me and Smile. This year's Super Bowl did not have any special guests.  Last year, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira made the headlines at the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show in Miami featuring special guests Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
