Sidra Medicine to host free webinar on breast feeding tomorrow

The session is part of ‘Meet Sidra Medicine’s Experts’ series – a community engagement program that features subjects related to women’s and children’s health.

Sidra Medicine, a member of Qatar Foundation, as a part of a series of free webinars (virtual seminars) on general health topics is hosting a webinar on breast feeding tomorrow, August 31 between 2.00pm – 3.00pm.

 

The topic of the webinar is ‘Breastfeeding is a healthy choice for you and your kid.’

Naglaa Hassouna, Clinical Nurse will be the speaker and the virtual session will be moderated by Fatema-Alzhra Shatnawi, Clinical Midwife Leader.

The important discussion will focus on: 

Benefits of breastfeeding for the mother and child

Mother's milk secret

Return to work and storing milk and 

Breastfeeding positions.

Topics include lactation and nutritional advice; diabetes management guidance for parents; mental health and much more.
