A small traveler plane collided with a stopped helicopter amid departure at the main airplane terminal in Nepal's Everest district on Sunday, killing no less than three individuals and harming four others, authorities said. 

The accident happened while the plane, a Twin Otter having a place with Summit Air, was endeavoring to take off from Lukla for Kathmandu on Sunday morning, said avionics official Raj Kumar Chhetri. He said the plane slipped off the runaway, hitting the helicopter of Manang Air. 

Both are private aircraft organizations that oblige visitors and Nepalese in the nation's remote regions. 

The harmed were carried to Kathmandu by helicopter, Nepal police representative Uttam Raj Subedi said. The dead incorporated a pilot of the plane and two cops who were close to the stopped helicopter.
