Brussels bomb alert: Area close to EU cleared, people evacuated

Somewhere in the range of 40 individuals were preventively emptied from a structure close to European Union home office in Brussels after a bomb danger was sent to an organization connected to the EU.
Police representative Ilse Van de Keere said a "phone bomb risk" was made Tuesday morning to a counseling office connected to the EU's official Commission and that it has been paid attention to.
Some portion of the road has been closed and sniffer hounds have been sent to the scene.
The activity was all the while progressing around early afternoon nearby time (1100 GMT).
