Water concessionaire Manila Water on Saturday said it has suspended meter reading and billing activities from March 17 "until further notice."

Charging will be assessed dependent on normal utilization in the previous 3 months as per approaches forced by the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage Systems, the concessionaire said in an announcement. 

"Any distinction versus genuine utilization will be reflected and charges will be balanced on your next bill when we continue read-and-bill tasks," Manila Water said. 

Typical charging will be executed once the administration at last lifts the Luzon-wide network isolate, as per Manila Water.
