Online Job Fair ng POEA at DOLE: 21,000 Trabaho Naghihintay sa mga Pinoy!

Para matulungan ang mga nag-uwiang OFW na gustong makabalik sa trabaho, isang online job fair ang ikinasa ng POEA simula bukas — Huwebes, Disyembre 10, hanggang Biyernes, Disyembre 11.

Nasa 2,000 land-based job vacancies ang puwedeng apply-an mula sa 15 lisensiyadong recruitment agency.

"Karamihan dito mga factory workers ang hinahanap nila at kasama na rin 'yung mga [household workers]," ani POEA administrator Bernard Olalia.

Nilinaw naman ng POEA na hindi pa kasama ang mga health worker sa mga puwedeng mag-apply sa job fair.

Para naman makasali sa job fair, pumunta sa poea.gov.ph at i-click ang online services at manpower registry para sa e-registration.

Magbubukas ang online job fair alas-10 ng umaga Huwebes.

May alok din na 21,000 trabaho para sa lahat ng Filipino (OFWs at non-OFWs ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) ngayong linggo.

Over 21,000 jobs, both local and overseas, will be offered in an online Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) jobs fair later this week.

According to the DOLE, the job fair will include vacancies from 600 domestic companies as well as 15 licensed recruitment agencies connected with Bahrain, the Falkland Islands, Germany, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Japan, Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Micronesia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Palau, Qatar, Singapore, Taiwan, and Turks and Caicos.

Most of the jobs are for factory workers, nurses, nursing aides, care workers, engineers, CAD operators, telecommunications rigging technicians, maintenance technicians, carpenters, foremen, laborers, and building cleaning workers.

Also to be offered are vacancies for supervisors, physical fitness coaches, cake decorators, cooks, food servers, restaurant workers, waiters, waitresses, counter service staff, and service staff.

Dubbed as the Balik-trabaho e-jobs and online jobs fair, the program is mounted by the Bureau of Local Employment and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and will be held on Thursday and Friday, December 10 and 11, 2020, coinciding with the DOLE's anniversary on December 08, 2020.

Job seekers are advised to be ready with the digital copies of their resume or curriculum vitae and other application requirements such as a certificate of employment for those formerly employed, diploma, and transcript of records.

Applicants may visit the POEA website to access the job fair.

Job-seekers should log-in their credentials via e-registration, and recommended jobs will be matched to their preference.

Just last week, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported an 8.7% unemployment rate in October, equivalent to 3.8 million adult individuals.

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) would launch an online job fair on December 10 and 11, 2020.

The project aims to provide overseas employment opportunities to job seekers through online that can be accessed at the POEA website (www.poea.gov.ph).

For guidance in the use of the online job fair, POEA issued Advisory No. 160, series of 2020.

"Guidelines in the Implementation of Overseas Virtual Job Fair" which is posted in the POEA website.

The project also aims to get rid of illegal recruitment activities and also to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Likewise, this is our way to help our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and those who would like to work abroad to have the opportunity to provide their families with a better life.

In order to submit application thru this online job fair, Jobseekers are required to have an E-registration account, that can be likewise accessed at the POEA website.

Further, jobseekers are advised to be ready with the digital copies of their application documents, like Resume or Curriculum Vitae; Certificate of Employment; Diploma and/or Transcript of Record.
