Individuals may submit a request to the Roads Maintenance Department of the Assets Affairs Sector at the Public Works Authority “Ashghal” to register in the road announcements service and start receiving alerts on closed and diverted roads via email or SMS.

Additional Information

• In case of selecting subscription in SMS service, you will receive a verification code on the registered cell phone.

• This service is available inside Qatar only.

Road Announcement for Tomorrow: Opening of a new route at Messaimer starting from Thursday 17th December 2020

Ashghal will open a new route at Mesaimeer Interchange connecting traffic from the Southern Part of Doha Expressway towards Industrial Area Road on Thursday 17th December 2020, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.

Using the new route, travellers coming from Al Wakra, Al Wukair & G Ring can drive directly to areas of Mesaimeer, Ain Khalid, Umm Al Saneem.
