The brightest planet of our solar system "Venus" will be at Inferior conjunction with Sun; where it will pass in between the Sun and Earth on the evening of next Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 8:37 Pm Doha local time. Qatar Calendar House (QCH) announced.
The inferior conjunction of Venus is a very important astronomical phenomenon; because it is an indicator to Venus transition to disappear on an evening sky over the western horizon after sunset, to appear on the morning sky over eastern horizon before sunrise, moreover, the Inferior conjunction phenomenon only occurs only for two planets of our solar system planets (Venus, and Mercury); because they orbit around the sun are inside Earth's orbit. Astronomer expert at (QCH) Dr. Beshir Marzouk said.
During the Inferior conjunction of Venus, the center of three celestial objects (Sun, Earth, and Venus) will be aligned on a straight line, moreover, Venus will be in between Sun and Earth, and it will pass very close to the Sun in the sky.
Dr. Marzouk added, Qatar and Arabic regions countries residents will be able to see and observe Venus over Eastern horizon during the second half of June approximately, where the duration between time rise of Venus and sunrise time will be increasing during next few weeks, moreover, on Wednesday Venus will be rise over Qatar sky (and all world counties sky) at the same time of sunrise and both of the Venus and Sun will be set on the western horizon on same time approximately, so it will be impossible to observe Venus on this day.
The Inferior conjunction of Venus was occurred last time on October 26, 2018; while the next Inferior conjunction of Venus with Sun will occur on January 9, 2022.
For more information, there are two types of conjunction occurs for our solar system planets, Superior and Inferior conjunctions; where Superior conjunction occurs for all solar system planets, while Inferior conjunction occurs for two planets only (Mercury and Venus) because they orbit around the sun are inside Earth's orbit.
An astronomer called Venus is morning and evening star; because it's the last object hide on the morning sky before sunrise time, and it's the first object appear on the evening sky after sunset time.
