580gm marijuana found in parcel going to Qatar via Mumbai, India

The Mumbai unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday intercepted a parcel from courier company DHL Express and seized 580g of marijuana. The parcel was headed to Qatar via Mumbai.
Acting on specific intelligence, NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede and his team intercepted the parcel. On examination, they found the contraband cleverly wrapped in aluminum foil, and packed into a submersible water pump.
The contraband had copper wires rolled on it to avoid detectionf from screening. An official said they were investigating the source of the contraband.
