The General Assembly of the Arab Shooting Federation, in its meeting held today in Cairo, headed by Eng. Duaij Khalaf Al Otaibi, re-elected member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Archery and Archery Federation, Abdullah Ali Al Hammadi, for a membership in the Executive Office of the Arab Shooting Federation, during the Arab Shooting Championship competitions currently organized by Egypt. which continues until the twelfth of June.
In a statement on this occasion, Al Hammadi expressed his happiness for continuing to work with the Executive Committee of the Arab Shooting Federation, pointing out that Qatari shooting is always present on the scene through shooters who compete in the Arab and international shooting fields.
Al Hammadi said, "Undoubtedly, our experiences and gains in the field of shooting have always put us at the forefront of Arab and regional federations, and we will continue these successes during the participation of the champions of Qatar in the Arab Championship, in which elite Arab stars are participating in the game." He thanked the president and members of the Arab Shooting Federation for his re-election as a member of the Federation Executive office.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Qatar shooting, Archery and Arrow Association, Majid Ahmed Al Nuaimi, congratulated Abdullah Al Hammadi for the confidence he was given by the Arab Federation, stressing that Qatari sport has always achieved many Arab and international successes.
Al Nuaimi pointed to the many successes that have been achieved in recent years, especially the Asian Shooting Championships organized by Doha 2019, as well as the qualification of Qatari shooter Mohammed Al Rumaihi for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
The Qatari team shooters participating in the Arab Championship this evening completed the official training for the launch of the two-day skeet competitions for men and women.(QNA)
