The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Greece has issued a notice for all its citizens who are travelling to Greece.
In a notice posted on the official Twitter account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy said that, “Based on the decision of the Greece government to relax some COVID-19 precautionary measures and allow Qatari citizens to enter the country with exemption from quarantine, travellers have to adhere to several processes.”
Travellers will also have to complete the form “PLF” which is available at ‘travel.gov.gr’.
Those who have not yet received their vaccination will have to take a ‘PCR’ test 72 hours in prior to their travel and must be tested negative. Every travelers will be subject to fast check-up in Greece airports, and accordingly, all of them must adhere to the strict precautionary measures enforced.
The individuals who will be taking up their travel must show full vaccine certificates in English issued by a recognised official hospital. The second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine must have also completed 14 days and should include all data of the traveller, identical to his/her document.
Those who contacted the virus and recovered must also provide evidences and should have passed a COVID-19 test since the infection. The Embassy also advised all its travellers to coordinate with the airline companies in accordance with the applicable procedures. Travellers must also make sure to follow the safety and health measures applied in the Republic of Greece.
