Al Duhail sits at the lead of the Men's Handball League after defeating Al Arabi 28-26 in the match that was held today within the Round 17 competitions.

The first half of the strong match ended in a 14-14 draw, while in the second half Al Duhail succeeded clinch the victory.

With this victory, Al Duhail raised their score to 44 points, to advance to the top of the standings, while Al Arabi have now 43 points and retreated to the second place, decreasing their chances of preserving the title they won last season.

In another match held today within the same round, Al Sadd won over Al Shamal 32-28, raising their points to 33 and advancing to fifth place, against 24 point for Al Shamal which come in the ninth place.

The Round 17 competitions will conclude Monday with three match bringing together Al Rayyan against Al Khor; Al Gharrafa against Qatar SC; and Al Wakrah against Al Ahli.
