An attempt to smuggle five tonnes of tobacco prevented

The Customs of Air Freight and Private Airports has thwarted an attempt to smuggle five tonnes of tobacco into the country.
In a twitter post, the customs department said that airfreight and private airports thwarted an attempt to smuggle five tonnes of tobacco, which were found hidden in corn flakes.
The department officials and authorities has been constantly issuing warning against those individuals trying to transport illegal substances into the region.
All the Customs officers are given with all adequate means of support including the latest devices and continuous training to read the body language of travellers and to be aware of the latest methods smugglers carry out.
