Ashghal announces closing of roads on Dafna streets for six months

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that it will be closing Dafna Street for a period of six months in both directions between its intersection with Omar Al Mukhtar St and its intersection with Balhambar Street for Street development and construction works. 
Dafna Street will also be facing the closure in one direction from its intersection with Balhambar Street to Al Dafna Intersection. In a twitter Ashghal said that access to embassies on both sides will remain open as usual.
 
The closure of the roads will be implemented from Friday, April 16 and will remain close for the next 6 months. Omar Al Mukhtar Street, Al Tawaweesh Street and Balhambar Street can be used as alternative roads. 
The closure aims to allow for Dafna Street enhancement works as part of the Roads & Parks Development Project in West Bay.
