Aspire Zone CEO says QND a precious occasion and source of pride

The National Day inspires feelings of love and loyalty that reside in the hearts of all Qataris for their country and society and residents also participate in this celebration out of love for Qatar and its wise leadership and gratitude for the security, peace and justice that they experience in the land of Qatar.
Mohamed Khalifa al-Suwaidi CEO of Aspire Zone Foundation has stressed that “ The National Day is a precious occasion for all, and a source of pride, in which all Qataris celebrate the history of the ancestors who had played a great role in building our beloved country and laying the foundation for our never-ending aspirations to place this country in the ranks of developed countries.”
Al-Suwaidi added that the National Day is a special occasion, which expresses the ability of our wise leadership and our generous people to give, sacrifice and dedicate for the elevation of the homeland. He also said that this is a day that inspires feelings of love and loyalty that reside in the hearts of all Qataris for their country and society, pointing out that the residents also participate in this celebration out of love for Qatar and its wise leadership and gratitude for the security, peace and justice that they experience in the land of Qatar.
“Every year the organising committee for National Day activities chooses a slogan derived from the verses of the Founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani, in order to document our connection with our past and our heritage. This year’s selection was one of the verses of the founders poem: “We praise you, the Lord of the Throne, We accept your judgment in all actions”, which indicates praise to God for all challenges and difficulties and for granting resolve and victory in good and bad times and in the most severe crises,” he added.
On the efforts of the Aspire Zone Foundation in implementing the Qatar National Vision 2030, he said that the Foundation is following the path of Qatar’s political leadership and its enlightened and insightful vision, which makes human development and advancement central for the various development processes that the country is witnessing in recent times, adding that Aspire always puts the human element in mind, whether it is students of the Academy, professional athletes, or members of the community to whom the foundation provide innovative community programmes aimed at promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
Al-Suwaidi pointed out that the National Vision aims to prepare a knowledge-based society, which is what the Foundation is keen on in all its work and programmes, which are built on a scientific basis and the best practices and the latest methods are used in their application.
He explained that there is a close connection between the vision of the Aspire Zone Foundation, its mission and the tasks it carries out, and the National Vision in general with its four pillars, especially with regard to the pillar of human development.
The vision of the Foundation, which has been achieved, has become the reference in global sporting excellence in 2020, and the Foundation societal goal is to promote an active healthy lifestyle and make physical activity and sport an integral part of the daily routine of individuals, which directly contributes to achieving the National Vision.
The Foundation contributes to the progress of the State of Qatar in achieving the 2030 Vision. He said that the belief in the values of innovation and creativity at work motivates them to provide more innovative research and applications in the fields of sports science, sports medicine, stadium and event management, adding that the Foundation have many research centres, and they are considered perhaps the only expertise centres in the Middle East region in these areas, such as the centre of expertise for natural turf management and research for stadiums, he added.
The Aspire Zone CEO pointed out that the Foundation was able, in a relatively short time, to prove its leadership in the world of sports through the efforts of its three members (Aspire Academy, Aspetar Hospital, and Aspire Logistics). The Foundation became a destination for everything related to sports in the region and the world. There are many indications for this, including the elite Qatari athletes who were presented to the world and have achieved advance positions in various sports, in addition to the fact that the most famous clubs and international teams choose Aspire Zone for their training camps, as well as the international sporting events organised by the Foundation throughout the year in Doha and outside it.
Al Suwaidi underlined the Qatari government’s confidence in Aspire Zone Foundation to manage and operate all sports facilities in the country, in addition to the launch of the first sports business district of its kind in the Middle East, as well as the inauguration of the 2022 building to attract major leading companies in the sports industry to create an ideal sports investment climate that complements the sports system in Qatar by supporting and developing the sports economy.
