Awqaf announces procedures to perform Umrah for Qatari pilgrims

The Hajj and Umrah Department of the Ministry of Awqaf in a video published on its official Twitter account has explained the procedures for conducting Umrah pilgrimage for Qataris, citizens of GCC countries and residents.
Procedures for all citizens of Qatar and the GCC countries
- Download the ‘Tawakkalna’ application and register themselves.
- Must undergo 3 days Hotel quarantine.
- They will also be able to request for an Umrah permit from "Eatmarna" application and it can be installed on a Qatar SIM
Procedures for all other non-Gulf residents in Qatar and the rest of GCC states:
- They will be able to reserve the basic package for Umrah through an authorized external Umrah agent and a Saudi Umrah company.
- The agent, through the Saudi company, will be booking the date of Umrah and the visit through ‘Eatmarna’ application.
- The Umrah Company will be issuing visas for those Umrah performers residing in Qatar.
- They also must submit a PCR certificate with a negative result showing the evidence that the pilgrim is free from Covid-19 virus, issued by a reliable laboratory from Qatar in which the pilgrim resides, and the period should not exceed 72 hours from the time of taking the sample until the time of departure to Saudi Arabia.
- Must undergo 3 days Hotel quarantine.
