Breaking News: Family and Tourist Entry Visa Issuance in Qatar to Restart on July 12

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced today that issuing of family and tourist entry visas will be restarted from July 12, 2021.
The decision was made within the framework of the approved travel policies to and from the State of Qatar and based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) developments in Qatar.
MoI published the announcement via its official Twitter account with the following statement:
Within the framework of the approved travel policies to and from the State of Qatar and based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Public Health regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments at local and global levels.
As of July 12, 2021, it has been decided to restart the issuance of family and tourist entry visas.
Travellers coming to the State of Qatar through its land, sea, and air ports will be subject to the requirements and procedures set by the Ministry of Public Health regarding approved vaccination and quarantine procedures to limit the spread of the Coronavirus in the country.
The concerned authorities at the Ministry of Interior appeal to the public to adhere to the oficially approved requirements and procedures before starting the application procedures.
