Chad’s Transitional Military President meets Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

N’Djamena: H E Lt Gen Mahamat Idriss Deby, the president of transitional military council and head of the State of the Republic of Chad, met yesterday with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs H E Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, who is visiting Chad.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs conveyed the State of Qatar’s condolences to the president of Chadian transitional military council and head of the state on the death of the late president Idriss Deby.

He also conveyed the greetings of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to H E the president of transitional military council of Chad, and His Highness wishes of more progress and growth for the Chadian people. For his part, the president of Chadian transitional military council entrusted H E the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs to convey his greetings to H H the Amir, wishing him health and happiness and the Qatari people continued development and prosperity.

They reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries.
