HE Chairman of Qatar Chamber Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani praised Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition, describing the exhibition as an important platform that provides an opportunity for businessmen to see the latest innovations related to the agricultural sector and to explore investment opportunities available in this sector, which is one of the most vital sectors that attract investment.

The Chairman of Qatar Chamber praised the role played by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in supporting the agricultural sector in the country.

This came during the tour organized by Qatar Chamber for the Tunisian trade delegation to the 8th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition currently held at Doha Exhibition and Conference Center at the presence of HE Tunisias Minister of Economy, Finance, and Investment Support, Ali Al Kaali, HE Tunisian Union of Industry and Commerce president Samir Majoul and a number of members of the Tunisian business delegation.

The Chamber's support for the exhibition comes within the framework of its keenness to support the agricultural sector, and its encouragement for businessmen to invest in this vital and important sector, which is an important input to increase food security ratios in the country, Chairman of Qatar Chamber said.

During the tour, HE the Tunisian Minister of Economy and Finance and members of the Tunisian delegation were briefed on the various pavilions of the exhibition and the products offered by the participating companies; they showed keen interest for the exhibition and the Qatari agricultural products.

It is noteworthy that Qatar Chamber supports the exhibition as a silver sponsor.

Through its booth in the expo, the Qatar Chamber will highlight the services it offers for the business community, as well as the role it performs to encourage Qatari businessmen to invest in agriculture and food security projects.
