CNA-Q’s brightest students honoured during annual Academic Awards

During a hybrid ceremony that was held, a total of 60 brilliant and best students for their 2019-2020 academic achievement were honoured by the College of the North Atlantic - Qatar (CNA-Q).
All the students who received the awards were mainly based on six categories: Overall Highest Achiever Scholarship, Highest Achiever Merit Award, Achievement Award, Distinction Award, Industrial Trades Dean Award, EFL (English as a Foundation Language) Award.
Business Management Accounting student Shana Parveen Abdurahiman and Applied Business Administration-Accounting student Sara Fouad received an award for The Highest Achiever Award. 
 
Merit Awards have also been awarded to the Highest Achievers from each of the College’s Schools: Business Management and Information Technology - Almas Sami Ahmad Ayubi, Mary Rose Tabilin Villanueva, Patrick Gerald, Sidi Mohamed El Youssy. Health Sciences - Jasmin Sami Zaid, Raniah Farooq. Engineering Technology and Industrial Trades- Mona Sami Abuhussin, Shuaib Muhammed Ali.
 
CNA-Q President, Dr. Salem Al-Naemi, during the ceremony said, “This ceremony is not only a recognition of the students’ outstanding results. We are honoring their studiousness and their will to achieve even under the most unusual circumstances. Today we mark the 18th anniversary of “The Academic Awards,” an important College tradition and a much-awaited event by CNA-Q students and faculty. I am confident these award-winning students will have a bright future ahead of them and will make Qatar very proud.”
Highest Achievers have been granted scholarships, and all the winners receive a College certificate, and the Distinction is specified on their official transcript.
