Commercial Bank is set to build operations in Turkey
Qatar’s third largest bank is set to build operations in Turkey, according to Commercial Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Joseph Abraham. He says they are committed to doingbusiness with Turkey as the bank looks to expand operations there.“We are focusing on building it and improving the return on equity,” he said in a Bloomberg TV interview.
The bank being one of the largest lender by assets has recently been witnessing success with its nonperforming loans achieving better than the market average. And in 2016, CBQ acquired full ownership of the Turkish bank Alternatifbank AS.
