COVID-19 Outbreak Causes 2 Banks in Qatar to Postpone SME Loan Payments

Concerning the adverse impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, two banking sectors in Qatar have made announcements to postpone all SME payments due on their loans and documentary credits.
Among the banks that issued the announcements are:
• Qatar National Bank (QNB)
• Al Khaliji Bank
The policy takes effect without any interest or fees for a period of 3 months, starting March. Both banks addressed the statements to all their SME customers on their official Twitter accounts.
