Department of Meteorology Warns of Thundery Rain Associated With Strong Wind at Places Later

Weather inshore tonight until 6:00 am on Wednesday will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with chance of scattered rain maybe thundery at places later, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of thundery rain associated with strong wind at places later.

Offshore, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain at times maybe thundery later, the report added, warning of thundery rain associated with strong wind and high sea by night.

Wind inshore will be mainly northeasterly at a speed of 05 to 15 knot gusting to 25 knot at places with thundery rain.

Offshore, it will be northeasterly to southeasterly at a speed of 08 to 18 knot gusting to 30 knot at places with thundery rain.

Visibility will be 4 to 9/3 kilometer or less at places with thundery rain.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet rises to 4 feet later. Offshore, it will be 3 to 5 feet rises to 9 feet at places with thundery rain.
