Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs meets President of UNCOP26

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on Sunday met with HE President of the 26th United Nations (UN) Climate Change Conference (COP26) Alok Sharma, during his current visit to Qatar.
During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the United Nations, in addition to issues pertaining climate change.
 
HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs also expressed the State of Qatar's gratitude to the UN for organising the 26th conference for the parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and for its long-term efforts to confront climate change.
His Excellency also affirmed that the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and Qatar National Vision 2030 highlights the basic foundation of Qatar's Sustainability Strategy in the region.
