Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Call from Iranian Foreign Minister

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani received a video call today from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif.
During the call, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations, in addition to issues of common concern.
Last January 24, 2020, both of the leaders met during His Excellency's visit to Iran.
During the said meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments on the regional arena, especially the recent events in Iraq, as well as ways of calm to maintain collective security of the region.
