Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs inaugurates Qatari Navy's training ship in Istanbul

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, accompanied by HE Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey Hulusi Akar, inaugurated today the training ship Al Doha QTS91, in Anadolu Shipyard in Istanbul.
Al Doha QTS91 ship is one of the largest training ships in the world, as it has high training capabilities that will contribute to enhancing the training capabilities of the Qatari Navy in general, and Mohammed bin Ghanem Al Ghanem Maritime Academy and its members in particular.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Republic of Turkey Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi, HE Commander of the Qatari Amiri Naval Forces Major General (Navy) Abdullah Hassan Al Sulaiti, Qatar's Military Attache in Turkey, Brigadier General (Air) Mohammed Rashed Al Hajri, and a number of senior officers from both sides.
