Diversion on Part of the E-Ring Road

The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces that it will close part of the E-Ring Road, in the direction from Energy Intersection towards Airport Street, while diverting traffic to the opposite side of the road to include two lanes in each direction.
The diversion starts on Wednesday 10 February 2021 for a period of 6 months, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, and aims to allow construction works of surface and groundwater network at Al Thumama.
The Public Works Authority will install directional signs to alert road users of this traffic change. The Authority urges all commuters to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to preserve their safety.
