Doha Metro operates at 20% capacity on weekends

In line with the recent decision by the Cabinet of Qatar, it is determined to re-impose measures due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Doha Metro has announced that it will be operating at 20% capacity on Fridays and Saturdays. This decision is effective from today, March 26, until further notice.
It has also reiterated that adhering to physical distancing measures will be in place. The consumption of food and beverages on the network is prohibited at all times
Doha Metro also stated that during the busier times at the stations, queuing arrangements will be operated to control access.
