Domestic workers in Qatar can authorize their employers to submit their application for National Address

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) recently announced that all domestic workers in Qatar can authorize their employers to submit the application for the required National address registration after filling it out and signing it by the worker. It added that the decision was taken to simplify the process.

According to the MoI, domestic workers can register their national address using the form for registering them and authorizing their employer to submit the application to the competent authorities after filling it out and signing it by the worker.

 

 

 

The Ministry further stated that National address is a shift from descriptive address to digital address. It also announced that there is a 10,000 QAR penalty for those who provided false information in the submitted application. There is also a 5,000 QAR fine for individuals who were not able to register their National Addresses before the given deadline which is on July 26, 2020.
