Qatar Airways Holidays, who jointly collaborates with DQ has affirmed that the children below 16 years old need not undergo hotel quarantine if they travel with their parents who has received the full course of the COVID-19 vaccine in Qatar. However, the children will be required to undertake a mandatory home quarantine for 7 days.
Any adults (18 or over) who have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine from a medical facility in Qatar, with the second vaccine received at least 14 days before the date of entry into Qatar, are exempted from quarantine
According to the website, the group stated that, “For parents travelling with a minor aged 16-18 where the minor has not received the vaccine in line with the above qualifications, they will need to book a ‘welcome home package’ and follow the same conditions outlined in the rest of this document, regardless if the parent has received the vaccinations or otherwise.”
