Drivers detained after drifting videos go viral: Traffic department

The General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of the Interior (MoI) reported the seizure of two vehicles who were discovered drifting at Al Kheesa area.  

Video recordings demonstrating the SUVs drifting and doing unsafe driving were shared on local social media and numerous individuals were commenting about the dangerous driving. 

The traffic department took notice of the video and brief move was made against the failing drivers and vehicles. The drivers were detained and vehicles were seized by the police. 

The traffic department on its official Twitter account stated: "In regards to the video that has been circulating as of late appearing risky driving of vehicles in the Al Kheesa region, we might want to advise that the vehicles were seized and detained until further notice." 

The Department included that the drivers were exchanged to the Public Prosecution and will influence them to make up for the harm they caused in the city. 

Numerous recordings were posted via web-based networking media locales that demonstrated a gathering of vehicles doing hazardous tricks and causing harm in the city. One dark vehicle was seen toppling over numerous occasions after the floating endeavor turned out badly. Another white SUV was likewise engaged with the occurrence and was seen consuming tires causing thick surging smoke.
