Duo jailed 7 years fro drug dealing in Qatar

The Court of Appeal has reduced to seven years the jail term of two Asian men convicted of illicit drug dealing and possession.
Local Arabic Arrayah daily reported that the criminal court had earlier convicted the two men of transporting, receiving and delivering a quantity of the illicit drug hashish for the purpose of trade.
Accordingly, the court sentenced them to 10 years in jail and a fine of QR200,000 each, deportation after serving the sentence and confiscation of the illicit drugs.
