Education Undersecretary Visits Exams Control Centers

HE Dr. Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, MOEHE Undersecretary, visited the exams control centers in Sumaya and Hafsa schools to check the progress of the grading and marking process, and the precautionary measures taken to ensure the safety of employees.

During the visit, Dr. Al Nuaimi viewed samples of the students' answer sheets in different subjects and learned about the various stages of the grading and marking process.

Mr. Khalifa Al Dirham, Director of Student Assessment Department, briefed the undersecretary on the grading process, which starts with handing over and receiving the answer sheet boxes from school-based examination committees, checking answer sheets, estimating the grades and concludes by reviewing the final marks.

Assistant Director of Student Assessment Department, Iman Al Muhannadi, pointed out that the correction and marking process at the examination control committees is carried out smoothly and harmoniously.

 

 

 

The undersecretary also reviewed the precautionary measures applied inside the control centers to ensure the safety of employee and prevent any possible chance of spreading COVID-19.

For the first time ever, two separate premises were allocated to the high school control centers in order to maintain proper social distance among employees and apply the precautionary measures accurately. The measures taken include staff temperature checks, sterilization, wearing face masks and gloves, and using EHTERAZ application.

Supervisors of control committees praised the high level of cooperation and integration displayed by examiners and staff members, as well as their compliance with the new measures taken in light of the current pandemic.

Dr. Al Nuaimi concluded his visit by commending the preparations, and thanked the staff at Control Centers for their efforts and commitment.
