Experts Discuss Major Events Security on the Sideline of Milipol Qatar 2021

The last day of the Milipol Qatar 2021 exhibition witnessed a symposium on security management for major events in which experts and specialists in a number of international companies specialized in command and control systems at event sites participated in it.
The symposium discussed a number of axes, including security command and control in major sporting events, aspects of safety and security in holding sporting events during the Coronavirus pandemic, the control system in the stadiums and crowds, threats of drones in major events, ways to secure these events using a drone, and data perspective in major events.
During the symposium, experts and specialists presented the latest systems for managing and securing major events and crowd control, such as the C4I command, control, coordination and communication system which enables the management of sporting events in a complex environment such as the World Cup, Olympic Games, and others.
A French company also displayed control, tracking and detection systems for rogue drones that pose a threat to the security of sporting events, as these systems are characterized by tracking such aircraft and controlling their frequency spectrum, the company also offered a device similar to a rifle to confront and drop drones before reaching their destination.
The symposium also featured a comparison between drones and helicopters, and their uses in the security and civil aspects, as experts emphasized the increasing importance of drones due to their ease of operation, control and flexibility during sporting events and various event sites.
