One of the simplest things about living in Doha is that regardless of where you're , you’re only a step faraway from some fabulous art.

You don’t even need to visit an art gallery to get your culture fix, as there’s loads of top-notch public installations dotted around, and the scene is constantly changing and involving.

And if you’re on the hunt for a new exhibition, look no further than Al Markhiya Gallery, which has just launched a solo exhibition at Doha Fire Station.

Precaution, which opened on Tuesday (February 9), features the work of Faraj Daham.

The Qatari artist was previously a resident at the “What about Art?” Foundation in Mumbai, India as part of the Qatar-India Year of Culture in 2019.

He has previously exhibited at the hearth Station, Mathaf: Museum of recent Art, and QM Gallery Al Riwaq.

You can check out the exhibition from Saturday to Thursday between 9am and 7pm, and you have until Thursday March 25 to visit.

In line with new coronavirus restrictions, only ten people are going to be ready to visit the exhibition at just one occasion , so cause you to think about time which will be spent queuing into your visit.

While you’re there, don’t forget to see out Acts of Listening from Future Generations at Gallery 3 and 4 and therefore the Cinema.
