First day of Ramadan in Qatar

May 5 is the completion of the month of Shaaban and Today, May 6, 2019 (Ramadan 1, 1440H) will be the first day of Ramadan announced by the Moon Sighting Committee of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
This statement issued by the Committee after its meeting Saturday evening at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, chaired by Dr Sheikh Thaqeel Al Shammari.
