First Edition of QOC Beach Games Kicks Off

The first edition of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Beach Games began today at Aspire Park. The games will continue until January 02, 2021 with participation of more than 500 players.
The opening ceremony of the games was attended by HE QOC Secretary General Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain, Aspire Zone Foundation CEO Mohammed Khalifa Al Suwaidi and presidents of the national sports federations.
The participants will be competing in four beach sports including football, handball, volleyball and 3x3 basketball.
The first edition of QOC Beach Games is a community activity that will help promote these sorts of sports in Qatari society. Qatar also had successfully hosted the 2019 ANOC Beach Games in Doha.
The event is one of the community events and activities organized by QOC annually to take all individuals of the society to greater standards of health and physical fitness.
