Qatar Charity (QC) implemented the first phase of the “Future’s Writers-5” program, in which the participating students wrote a piece on a specific topic chosen by those in charge of the program.  The judges for the fifth edition of the program started evaluating the pieces submitted by the students online. The first phase was implemented remotely in light of the continued coronavirus pandemic.

Those, who will be declared as qualified in this phase, will move to the next stage “Training Forum”, in which they will receive training to develop their short story writing skills.

“As I love writing, I am participating in the current edition of the program that helps participants write creatively and speak fluently, hoping to write a piece beneficial for him and society,” said Hamad Al-Hajri, a student taking part in the fifth edition of the “Future’s Writers” program.

Mohab Muhammad Kamal, a winner in the previous edition of the program, indicated that his desire to continue developing his creative writing abilities, and realize his dream of being a writer in the future, motivated him to be a participant in the current edition of the program.

For the first time, ‘Future’s Writers’, a short-story writing program designed for school and university students, is being organized remotely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
