Kapag ikaw ay magbyabyahe ngayon papunta o paalis man ng Qatar, narito ang mga dapat tandaan tungkol sa pagkuha ng coronavirus (Covid-19) test alinsunod sa mga gabay na ipinalabas ng Qatar Airways at Philippine Airlines.

Para sa mga pasahero ng Philippine Airlines (PAL) at maglalakbay papuntang Pilipinas, kailangan mong sumailalim ng RT-PCR test upon arrival at magbook ng hotel accredited by tourism and health agencies of the Philippines habang naghihintay ng test results para irelease.

Do I need to take a rapid or swab test?

If you are departing from the Philippines, a number of countries require passengers to secure a negative RT-PCR test result taken at a specified number of hours before departure to ensure its validity. If you are traveling within the Philippines, certain Local Government Units (LGUs) require you to secure a negative rapid test or RT-PCR test result taken at a specified number of hours before departure to ensure its validity. PAL TESTING CENTER

Starting yesterday, November 11, 2020, you can arrange for your RT-PCR Test through a testing facility at Philippine Airlines Learning Center, Manila City in partnership with our DOH-accredited partner, Detoxicare Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory. ​

Testing is available via drive-thru or walk-in and is open daily (Monday-Sunday) from 8AM to 5PM. The testing fee is at Php 4,500 and results are released within 24 hours.​

Upon entering the facility, please present your ID, PAL ticket, and QR code indicating successful registration to the PAL PPHD. You’ll also be asked to fill out a Health Assessment Checklist in compliance with the PH Department of Health requirements on entering public places. ​

What documents should I bring to undergo the PCR testing?

Please provide a copy of your passport and a copy of your Qatar Airways booking (PNR / Ticket number). You will also be asked to complete and sign a consent form once you arrive to the laboratory.

How much does the PCR test cost?

The laboratory will provide you with details on the price of the PCR test.

Do I need to carry my PCR test report?

Yes, it is mandatory to present the PCR negative test certificate at the time of check-in. In the event that passengers are unable to provide the above-mentioned requirements upon check in, they will not be accepted for boarding the flight from Pakistan. These requirements apply to both existing and new bookings.

Once I have the PCR test done, how do I update it on the booking?

The laboratory will directly send the test result to Qatar Airways. Your freely given consent is necessary for the transfer of your test results to facilitate validation efforts by Qatar Airways to ensure ongoing assessments of public health and safety measures are maintained while travelling. It is required to authorise the laboratory to send your PCR test result to Qatar Airways.

Passengers must undergo the PCR test at one of the authorised laboratories.

Is it mandatory for infants and children to undergo the test?

Children below the age of 12 years who are travelling with the family members are exempted from the test if their parents tested negative and are fit to travel.
