Gaming Centres and Trampoline Parks Now Open in Qatar

Recreational activities have been temporarily suspended since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in Qatar. After months of restrictions and lockdown, they will be gradually resuming with the following guidelines from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI).

The gradual opening of amusement parks in Qatar is taking place in three stages:

• January 3 - Reopening of outdoor playgrounds, kid's outdoor games, billiards and bowling.

• January 11 - Resumption of electronic gaming centres and trampoline parks with 50% capacity

• January 24 -  Reopening of entertainment activities like bouncers, inflatable games, and ball pits

 

Which entertainment hubs in Qatar are open today?

• The Pearl-Qatar's Megapolis

• Villaggo Mall's Gondolania Them Park

• Funville  in Asmakh Mall, Ezdan Mall, Al Khor Mall and other malls around Qatar

• Doha Festival City's theme parks - Virtuocity, Sand Dunes and the Angry Birds World (with 50% capacity)

Many families have since flocked to these recreational centers in parks and malls to let their children enjoy the available facilities after months of lockdown.
