Gang arrested for wearing Qatari thobes and pretending as policemen

Four Asian nationals were arrested by the the North Security Department after posing as policemen and threatening people for money.
The department received information about a gang in Al Najma and Old Airport area. The group was reportedly coming into residential apartments, wearing Qatari dress (thobe) and masquerading themselves as policemen. They threatened unsuspecting people to part their money.
The defendants are curently under investigation and will be referred to prosecution for further legal procedures.
