HEC Paris, one of the leading providers of executive education in the world, has been recently ranked #1 in the Financial Times (FT) European Business Schools Rankings 2020, thereby retaining its top position from last year’s rankings.

The rankings are calculated according to a business school’s performance in five main categories published by the Financial Times during the year: MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Management and the two rankings for Executive Education (Custom and Open Enrolment programs). In each of these categories, HEC Paris placed in the top slots among all business schools ranked.

Commenting on FT’s latest rankings, Dr. Pablo Martin de Holan, Dean of HEC Paris in Qatar, said: “This is another great result for HEC Paris. Our success springs from our commitment to excellence in research, teaching and thought leadership in the disciplines that matter in today’s increasingly complex global economy. These rankings reflect not only on the academic excellence of our programs, but also the relevance and impact we deliver. Here in Qatar, the success of our International EMBA and the growth of our custom executive programs has supported the HEC Paris achievement in the rankings.”

HEC Paris’ International Executive MBA (EMBA) provides executives with a set of fundamental skills to expand their knowledge and leadership capabilities. It is a practical and intense 15 to 18-month program which develops participant’s understanding of the social, economic and environmental aspects of international business, as well as the skills to implement their vision. The next International EMBA intake is scheduled for February 2021.

The Specialized Master’s in Strategic Business Unit Management is the second degree program offered by HEC Paris in Qatar. The Specialized Master’s is also delivered in a flexible 15 to 18-month modular format starting with a core curriculum focused on strategy, finance, leadership and change. The program reflects HEC Paris’ commitment to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based economy in Qatar and to strengthen corporate competitiveness in the region. The next Specialized Master’s intake is scheduled for January 2021.

HEC Paris’ Custom programs are fully customized leadership development programs that enable participants to reflect upon themselves; their organization; their role within their industry; and the position their company occupies on the national and global stage. The programs incorporate blended solutions including case studies, business simulations and bespoke digital portals and are further enhanced by elements like professional and executive coaching, projects tackling real-life challenges, and international study tours, for a lasting transformational impact.
