HH the Amir directs to support Pakistani economy with $3bn

On the directives of the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani reported new investments worth a sum of $3 billion in the form of deposits and direct investments in Pakistan.

In an announcement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Deputy Prime Minister said that the Qatari help comes after Amir's visit to Pakistan to underscore the profound relations between the two brotherly nations and peoples. It likewise communicates the certainty of Qatar in the strength of Pakistan's economy and the vision and great management of the present government headed by Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan, he noted. 

 

The Deputy PM included that by declaring this new investment package on Monday, the size of the Qatari-Pakistani economic partnership will add up to $9 billion, and on this event, Qatar insists its aspiration for further building up the relations between the two nations and individuals at political, financial, sports, cultural and all other levels.
