HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani Yesterday issued Law No (13) of 2019 establishing a Media City. 

As per the law, a Media City will be established and it will have an ethical authority and independent budget. Its outskirts and coordinates will be dictated by a decision of the Council of Ministers. 

The Media City aims for managing and building up the media action in Qatar and attracting  universal media, technology organizations, research and raining institutions working in the territory of media and digital media.

It likewise plans to accomplish financial and professional integration with the state's different projects. The law has been actualized following the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
