His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani recently issued the following laws:

• Law No.10 of 2020 on the protection of industrial designs - Issued yesterday by HH the Amir, this law stipulates its implementation and is to be published in the Official Gazette.

• Law No. 11 of 2020 on railways - Another law issued yesterday by HH the Amir, this shall be implemented and enforced from the day following the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

• Decree No. 37 of 2020 - A law also issued yesterday by HH the Amir, this is regarding the approval of the accession of the State of Qatar to the Protocol of 1988 relating to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 (SOLAS), the text of which is attached to this decree and shall have the force of law, according to Article (68) of the Constitution.

The decree shall be implemented and enforced from the date of its issuance, and is to be published in the Official Gazette.
