HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met the winners of the Education Excellence Award 2021 on the sidelines of the ceremony held at Doha Sheraton Hotel on Monday morning.

During the meeting, HH the Amir praised the students' education performance and their distinguished efforts, despite the circumstances of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that affected the whole world, noting the importance of continuing the journey of excellence and acquiring scientific knowledge. His Highness stressed that the State attaches great importance to education for its role in promoting countries and societies, wishing them success in their future life.

For their part, the winners expressed great thanks and gratitude to HH the Amir for the opportunity to meet His Highness and honor them, valuing HH the Amir's continuous support to the distinguished and expressing their thanks for the great potentials provided by the State in the field of education, while affirming their determination to continue their scientific efforts to achieve the ambition of the State and society.

The meeting was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani and a number of senior officials of the education sector.
